The Rutgers Alumni Rowing Club was formed in 2003 by a group of alumni who rowed for Rutgers and wanted to continue to participate in the sport recreationally as well as competitively.
The club is going strong with several boats housed at the Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken, NJ located on the Cooper River, a well-known venue for rowing due in part to its straight 2,000-meter rowing length.
We have an established Learn to Row program for Rutgers alumni and staff, as well as their families, who may have no experience but have the desire to learn the sport of rowing.
We welcome experienced and novice rowers to join us out on the water!
